The Environmental Systems Operator covers all ten of the classes listed and will receive one certificate for 48 hours. Courses include:

*Basic Physical and Chemical Treatment Processes
*Mechanical Equipment
*Field Laboratory
*Plant Safety
*Disinfection and Advanced Treatment
*Sludge Handling and Disposal

Wastewater classes scheduled here are for D and C level operators. B and A Class operators will also benefit from these courses by obtaining CEUs and getting valuable review material for B and A level exams. Operators can take any of these classes to keep their certifications current.

Anyone wishing to go into the wastewater industry can take the entire series of classes without any experience and take the exam; however, certification will not be issued until the required job experience is achieved - one year of experience for each level. All exams are taken in Columbia through the LLR Board.

Wastewater courses are not eligible for tuition assistance/scholarships.
