Tri-County Technical College’s Logistics program includes the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) career-specific credentials for prospective and front-line employees working in factories, warehouses, transport and distribution centers. To enhance the competency of the supply chain/logistics workforce, MSSC® has now embedded Industry 4.0 into its technologies in its 2022 Industry 4.0 Edition of its National Logistics Standards. NEW! Certified Logistics Associate 4.0 (CLA 4.0) ® Certificate – Foundational Level  (30 Hours)


The Certified Logistics Associate (CLA 4.0) program provides students with the foundational broad knowledge they will need to understand the world of supply chain and related core competencies. Topics include: the global supply chain, the logistics environment, safety, safe equipment operation, material handling equipment, quality control, workplace communication, teamwork and problem solving and using computers.



Key Activities:


·        Demonstrate an understanding of the various roles in the global supply chain logistics life cycle


·        Demonstrate an understanding of the logistics environment


·        Operate and use equipment


·        Practice safety principles


·        Practice safety principles in the handling of materials and operation of equipment


·        Practices quality control principles


·        Employ work communication practices


·        Practices teamwork and good workplace behavior to solve problems


·        Uses relevant computer systems and applications to increase productivity
