The Sterile Processing Technician program is designed for individuals interested in processing surgical instrumentation. Work alongside health care professionals with supervision in a surgical instrumentation central processing department for hospitals and surgery centers. Process and sterilize medical equipment, learn infection control, supply ordering, and equipment management and inventory. This program prepares students for national certification, as a CSPDT, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician from CBSPD, the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
