The Online Pre-licensing course follows the course outline provided by the South Carolina Department of Insurance. It provides the student with the information needed to pass the South Carolina State Examination to become licensed to sell Life, Accident, and Health Insurance. This includes individual and group policies for Life Insurance, Annuities, Medical, Dental, and Disability Income to name a few. The topics covered by this course include over 15 major topics and 55 subtopics. Topics such as Insurance Regulation, General Insurance, Life Insurance Basics, Life Insurance Policies, Annuities, Disability Income, and Related Insurance are examples of the topics addressed.
Course Objectives
1. This approach will prepare the prospective Life, Accident and Health Producer/Agent to pass the state exam the first time.
2. Students can confirm their knowledge by completing our courses' Simulated State Exam before taking the South Carolina Pearson VUE State Exam.
